Our growth continues. We are delighted to announce yet another new face here at FIRMA Engineering Ltd.
Richard joined FIRMA Engineering in September 2023 after graduating from University of Sheffield with a MEng (Hons I) Aerospace Engineering.
His final year project was titled “Rocket motor thermodynamic cycle development and topology optimisation” and involved process design and work on a student-built engine.
Richard was involved with several interesting projects throughout his degree course, engaging with aerodynamic and structural design of several UAVs, as well as an eco-marathon battery electric vehicle.
These projects involved use of industry software packages such as Autodesk Fusion 360, Ansys Fluent and MATLAB.
Richard will be engaged in a wide variety of tasks at FIRMA, working towards advancing several key technical projects for the business.
